She once said that even if a mock Buddhist nun gunned down her, the whole world would know where that bullet came from. But we will take special care if she is released this time around.

I am pretty sure Than Shwe has a new plan to terminate our Lady. I am worried.

U Win Tin knows better.
Yes, this could be a scenario amongst many in Than Shwe's store.
As long as Daw Suu lives, the monk murderer is irrelevant and non-existent.
Hence, it is time Shwe Mann, Tin Aung Myint Oo and others serve notice to Than Shwe of the fact and work with Daw Suu for Burma's sake, their posterity and the Burma Army as well.
It is not Than Shwe but the Burma Armythat is the critical player in this matter -democratization and national reconciliation -before the country becomes a satellite state of China and all of us are dancing to the tunes of the communists in Beijing.
Don't count on the EU, US, UN and ASEAN in this matter as Hu Jintao is throttling them at every turn and opportunity in matters relating to Burma.

Joyful news comes out of bad intentions by the regime today. Daw Suu is released by Than Shwe.
The lopsided and outrageous outcome of Than Shwe’s “sham elections” and the recent fights over the ethnic groups require him to use a divergence theory by releasing Daw Suu.

Than Shwe will go on with his plan to establish a new government. His most trusted people are in their positions to carry on. All of his financial access and the country’s natural resourced have been privatized under the 2008 constitution’s legal process. Everything will go well along with his plan unless Daw Suu stands in his way. She is the only obstacle and obstruction to remove.

As a commander in chief of the military, Than Shwe would not release her without any precaution or a strategic plan for sure. He would never share the power with the democratic forces even though it is the time for him to say “goodbye” to his career as the military chief. He wouldn’t let loose of the gun up until his last breath.
