Worldwide Protests Against Burmese Regime

Thousands of demonstrators around the world continue to protest against the violent regime crackdown in Burma and to call for democracy and respect for human rights there. From Osaka in the east to Vancouver in the west, the demonstrators—including many Buddhist monks—demand firm UN action and freedom for Aung San Suu Kyi and other political prisoners.
