As always brilliant and insightful.
I guess the pile of rubble in the center represents the dynamited Student Union building on Rangoon Univ campus that was destroyed by the junta (Ne Win)in 1962.
Ugly flag of an ugly regime which may be like Pol Pot's Khmer Rouge in its killing fields.
For those who might not know, bananas and candle in bowl represent offerings to nats or spirits who all died a violent or "green"
death -- called ah sein thay in Burmese.
