26 years ago, North Korean saboteurs blew up the Martyrs’ Mausoleum in Burma during the visit of the then South Korean President Chun Doo Wan, which resulted in Rangoon severing diplomatic ties with Pyongyang. Now Burma has re-established relations with the DPRK to acquire more weapons. What a shame! It’s just the case of one international pariah joining forces with another to help each other and resist the civilized world. Meanwhile, the poor peoples of both countries have to suffer gross injustice and cruelty. These brutal and stubborn regimes just cannot be negotiated through peaceful means. As I see it, military force is the only option.
