In 1992-1993, we published and distributed books which reflected our political platform both in Burmese and English.

Q: What does the party flag look like?

A: The color of the flag is red with three white stars resting on the left-top corner.

Q: Who are the leaders of your party, and how many members do you have?

A: Our party leader is U Htun Yee. The general-secretary is U Than Tin. The joint general-secretary is U Khin Maung Gyi. We have 23 central executive members. During the time of the BSPP, we had 3 million members countrywide. In the 1990 election, we had about 500,000  members.

Q: Do you have confidence that you will do well in this election?

A: Yes, we believe we will win in this election. That’s why we registered.

Simon Wiesenthal, the chief Nazi hunter, had his centre in Vienna. Ex-BSPP members must take note that even if they become MPs, they can still be tried for crime against humanity in the name of socialism; there is no time limit.

SPDC, not being a political party but de facto state, must dissociate from NUP. We need more information about individual members of NUP. Do your civic duty by helping us.

COMMENT:we consider Timothy's messages as 'below par' generally, but on this occasion we totally agree with him regarding Shu Maung.

NUP (Notorious and Useless Party) believe they will win this election for their practical approach is based on a middle way, which is unfamiliar for the most of Burmese. Actually, they should only believe in Than Shwe's way, which makes Junta's happy and wealthy. Why waste your time and your money, NUP ?

When General Ne Win, the butcher/rapist, died, his body was hurriedly wrapped in a blanket and sent to the mortuary. No one knew what would happen to the body when it landed into hands of angry people. People were dancing and celebrating when he died and only regret one had was he/she had not got the chance to chop him in pieces. Millions of BSPP members burnt the membership cards when BSPP fell from the power in revolution 1988 and following political spring. How can NUP crooks lie to the public now when everyone hate the BSPP/ NUP in their heart? The poor will invade all the rich people/ cronies` houses when this junta falls. Do not make the poor and defenceless angrier by cheating, raping and looting. I worry about the proletariat revolution and bloodbath. We need to avoid hate and anger if we can.

Shame on you NUP! I can't believe you guys still want to win the election even though you guys used to be public enemies in 1980s.

Who is going to elect more monsters?

Better that no-one votes at all in this farcical game. What can they do? Imprison and torture the whole country?

" Generally, our political platform is structured for the benefit of the majority of the population." Explain clearly how your 'political platform structure' will benefit the people!

Also, we demand that every member of the executive committee and anyone who was a member of BSPP admit their exact role in making Burma bankrupt.

We condemn BSPP for all the evil deeds as much more than we condemn the traitor woman SuuKyi for her selfishness and opportunism and above all for misleading our people.
During this year we are gearing up for international media offensive against phoney and selfish parties and people. And stupid Panglongists/disintegrationists/balkanisers.

1. Do you still consider the late U ShuMaung as your leader in spirit?
2. BSPP nationalised/robbed people's property. How do you propose to compensate them?
3. Because of BSPP, many people had to live in exile: how will you compensate them?
4. Because of BSPP's {jealous}politics, intellectuals, scientists and engineers were denied the right to serve Burma: will you apologise to the nation?
5. Are you prepared to condemn BSPP?
6. Are you prepared to apologise to the nation for the murders committed during the BSPP rule?
7. Will you swear alligiance to King & Country?
8. What are your specific economic policies:free market with regulation, free market without regulation;nationalisation policies; infrastructure development.
9. What are your policies on human resource development?
10. What are your policies on protection of human rights?

Can you please stop cheating and lying to the people again and again?

If you were capable, honest and really eager to work for the people, we the people wouldn't have been in such situation as now.

Please stop it and stay away.

Please again

Ne Win took power in 1962, but it's not true as stated in the article that the BSPP was established that same year. The party was established about 5 years later.

What a shame. Do not vote this party. We became a poor country because of them (MASALA party). Do remember all people.
All these people in picture are the former hardcore and hardliners of U Ne Win's MASALA party.(They did the decision along with Sein Lwin to kill the 1988 students in Yangon university.)

Don' expect any votes from our Myanmar people, as you and your Ne Win Masala party already screwed up the country for 26 years(my whole young generation).

If I have a chance to ask NUP (former BSPP), I would make only one question: What is your opinion on 8888 uprising ?
